TFE was born out of the belief that entertainment is more than a simple playlist of music, a microphone & an MC!   Instead, it’s how a room full of people are made to feel and experience during a celebration.   The idea and primary focus on REAL People,  REAL Connections,  REAL Emotions and the “REAL” aspects that make up a successful celebration and are the heart & soul of great entertainment!

These are the key components that make up a real celebration and a truly successful party!  Real celebrations come from more than “just music”, they’re born from a connection with your entertainer who actually “gets you”!   It’s the personal connection with you before your party that helps inspire and create a unique blend of music and entertainment that reflects YOU,  and allows for all the “REAL” aspects that will make your event a memorable and REAL Celebration!

My goal is to make sure that each event is different than the last party you, or your guests, have attended…even if it was great, and DEFINITELY if it wasn’t!!   We’ve all been at “that” party where you can actually name the flowers in the centerpiece, remember the color of the uplighting, and even the chair covers…all because the entertainment was so mediocre it gave you a sense of no organization and “flow” to the party,  left the dance floor nearly empty, and ultimately lacked a great time, leaving you secretly disappointed!  Yes, we’ve all been to that party, myself included!

All details that go into planning your celebration are important and will reflect you, from invites to linens and favors to centerpieces; all aid in the uniqueness of your event.   Plus, available add-ons such as Uplighting, Monogram GOBO, Photo Booth, etc.,  can certainly add some extra flavor to your atmosphere.  TFE offers many popular enhancements for those interested, but honestly, I don’t feel you need most of it!!   Strip away the Uplights, TVs, Monogram, Photo Booth…  take it all away… And at the very heart of great entertainment should be all the key components of a “REAL” Celebration.   Without them, you’ve got a room full of unengaged guests!

 

REAL Celebrations are made through a creative partnership, working with you…not for you.  From the very first moment of contact, to the final (and always sad) goodbye at the end of your celebration, it’s the one-on-one relationship you have with your DJ throughout your planning that will, and absolutely should, spill over into the atmosphere of your event.  Getting to know you with the desire to personalize your entertainment, not simply customize, is a large part of where creativity comes from, and not just mine, but yours as well.

Your thoughts, visions, dreams and heck, even your out-of-this world and zaniest ideas all shared with me are what really allow me to help make your celebration one that uniquely says you!  I often say to my clients; “The only zany or unrealistic idea is the one that is never shared!   So share away and let’s see if we can make it work!”  (I love a good challenge )

A desire to make your celebration one where your personality shines through, in many areas in addition to the music, is what separates a good DJ… from a great DJ!   The same passion, enthusiasm, engagement and emotional investment from your DJ that’s shared with you… long before your celebration… will transfer immediately to your guests and create an energy you can actually feel in the air!   Take that energy and couple it with a knowledge of music & skill for blending it all together so your party flows without any awkward interruption and well…you get a packed dance floor that’s a REAL Fun Party for everyone!!
