A vocalist since I was old enough to stand on a chair and call it a stage, I’ve been sharing my love of music with anyone who’ll listen!  Those early days of singing in my backyard mimicing Sinatra, Fleetwood Mac & trying to be Whitney Houston, shaped my love for not only voice, but a love & deep appreciation for the great classics as well as modern music.

My love for music has taken me on a diverse career path, one that I’ve been enjoying for close to 20 years!   While attending College, studying Communications-Radio Broadcasting,  I began performing local theatre with Cabaret For Life, an amazing charitable organization helping Cancer and Aids patients in Monmouth County by producing Cabaret style musical theatre!  After 17 years, I’m still very much part of CFL and sit on the Board of Directors as well as still performing!   While finishing my degree, I attended and sang at a friends wedding in 1996 where the DJ handed me his business card and said, “Hey, if you ever….”

Three months later I called and one week later I was assisting on my first event.  The DJ was Mike Walter, of Elite Entertainment.  Although I got my degree and am still involved in Radio, on-air at 90.5 The Night, I quickly fell in love with the mobile DJ industry!  I continued on with many great years at Elite, as both Sales Consultant and one of the top DJs, providing DJ Entertainment, Master of Ceremonies, Coordination, Planning AND even Live Vocals to hundreds of Weddings (And yes, a believer of Marriage Equality LGBT Same Sex Weddings)  and Private Events throughout New Jersey and the Tri-State area.

I often think back to that day in 1996; had I declined that wedding invitation and never met the man who would ultimately be responsible for my DJ career, I wonder how very different my life would be today!

Thinking back makes me smile and reminds me how very lucky I am and how I wouldn’t change a thing!   Thanks to Elite and so many amazing DJs, in NJ as well as throughout the U.S. I’ve met and am lucky to call friend, I’ve valued the time and knowledge I’ve absorbed from them along the way, and I know that every bit has shaped the wedding entertainment professional I am today.   I honestly consider myself blessed to be able to spend my career as afull-time DJ, MC, Entertainer and Singer.  It’s been 16+ years since the journey began, and I have no intention of getting off the Entertainment path!

My passion for music and singing has also allowed me to share incredible musical moments singing at Wedding Ceremonies and even providing beautiful musical tributes to many loved ones at Funerals.  With an eclectic taste in music and a love for the “Sinatra Era”, Motown, Doo Wop, etc., coupled with a love for today’s music, I share my unique blend of vocal talents and DJing with patients and senior residents throughout New Jersey Monday – Thursday!  (And they love when I get them singing along to Rihanna, Pharrell and Pitbull!)

I began TFE with a vision for a more intimate and personal company, with a focus on “The Real” and the “Fun” that a party should be balanced with!   I believe it’s the “Real” connection with my clients, that translates to a uniquely personalized celebration complete with all the “Real” aspects that make up a great party!   The Real Philosophy is what I have such passion for and why I enjoy sharing it with others and truly love what I do!

Music is passion in motion!  I love what it does to one’s soul, and more importantly, what it can do to a room full of people… when done right!
