The introduction of adding live music to the mix of DJ entertainment when I first started DJing was overwhelmingly welcomed and made me NJ’s only known singing female DJ for many years!   The idea of a female DJ alone was rare, and I commonly heard, “Oooh, a girl DJ!”, but add the fact “the girl could SING too”, and you’ve got unique x 2!   I’ve been uniquely incorporating live music into Weddings and Private Events ever since! (Now the name “The Wedding Singer” makes sense doesn’t it?  )

 

Having all the variety of DJ Entertainment AND a live singer, it’s the best of both worlds!  With a wide-range of music styles including Jazz, Rock, R&B, Standards, Oldies, Country, Soul, Top 40 and Pop, I can provide an eclectic mix of styles to any Celebration!   Anyone who’s ever heard me sing “Crazy” or “At Last, surely swears it was Patsy Cline or Etta James’ record playing!  Song greats from other artists like Norah Jones, Sinatra, Shania Twain, Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Fleetwood Mac, Adele, Christina Perri, John Legend …and more, are all loved favorites that can be incorporated live.

 

 

 When planning your Wedding Entertainment, you can choose to have your Wedding Song or even your Parents Dances sung live, add a few songs for couples to slow dance to, or just enjoy and elegant mix of live entertainment during dinner.  The possibilities are endless, and so is my song list! In addition to my eclectic repertoire, if there’s a particular song you might want to have sung, just ask, I love learning new songs!

 

In choosing to include a sprinkle of live vocal entertainment during your celebration, how much or how little you include is entirely up to you.  Or, like many couples, you can choose to leave it up to me, even with song selections.  Traditionally, I lean towards mainstream music that’s easily recognizable when singing slow songs for couples to dance to.  For Dinner, here’s where you can incorporate some truly great songs that won’t necessarily fill a dance floor, but are perfect for setting the atmosphere for dinner.   Either way,  my goal is to create just the right mood when it comes to selecting songs.

In addition to your reception, if adding on Ceremony Services to your DJ package, the option to have live vocals is your choice as well.  Include live vocals during Prelude music, select a song to be sung for your Processional, or choose to have a special song sung during your Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony or other symbolic meditative moment.

**Ceremony Only Packages are also available for those couples who don't need DJ entertainment and only wish to hire music and/or live vocal services for their Wedding Ceremony.  Ceremony Only Packages are available for your on-site Ceremony at your venue or at your place of worship.  If at a place of worship, please be sure to inquire about their rules regarding bringing in an outside singer, as you may be limited to the singer at their congregation only.

 Although I specialize in Weddings, I incorporate live entertainment at many other Private and Social Events I’m DJing!   If your need is just for vocal entertainment for your event, without DJ services, Vocalist Only packages are available.   With my knowledge and passion for music,  whether just Singing or including it with DJ Entertainment, my energy, excitement and personalization are all included wherever I’m asked to perform.
